$100 Hamburger
PFA might buy your next $100 Hamburger.
Here’s how it works:
Send us an article of about 1,500 words or more with photos about a cool place to which you’ve flown. It could be your local airport, a resort, that restaurant on the field that’s an hour away. Any place at all, as long as you can fly there. (It’s okay if you fly to somewhere nearby and take other transportation to the main destination). If we publish your article in Piper Flyer magazine we’ll send you one hundred dollars!
Don’t worry that you’re not a good enough writer; we want to hear your story. We have people who will edit the article for final publication.
If you need some help getting started here are some pointers:
- Tell us how you got there. Was the trip out easy or did you encounter any problems?
- Tell us about the airport: What do other pilots need to know about flying into this particular airport? What runways are in use? Is it controlled or uncontrolled? What amenities are available?
-
Tell us about the destination: Do you go there for the food? Tell us what we should order if we go there. Tell us about the ambience- or lack thereof. What are the other attractions there?
- If it’s an overnight (or more) stay, tell us what you did while you were there; museums, restaurants, golfing.
-
Tell us anything else that you think would be of interest to your fellow members.
Final pointer: have fun with it!
