New to us 1975 Seneca II

Discussion started by Kent4142 1 year ago

Hello There,

My son and I just bought a 1975 Seneca II.  I was wondering about Improvements that should / could be made to the airplane.  Speed, comfort, safety improvements etc.

Any suggestions?  Anything we should stay away from?  What speeds and power settings to people use?

Thanks,

Kent Titcomb

Hi Mik(e?), thanks for the reply. Believe it or not we have just now gotten out airplane in the air. It was somewhat abandoned at a grass strip in Jacksonville FL. We got it moved to DeLand, FL and got it put back together annulled, painted, and a Garmin in it. But it took foooooreeeever!!!. So, with 24" and 2400 RPM 10.5 gallons what kind of true and at what altitudes?

Thanks, Kent

Hi Kent,
If useful, for a '73 Seneca, (with the Rajay manual turbo-chargers), typical 24" mp, 2400 rpm, about 10.5 gallons per engine. Not sure if this helps for a Seneca II.
