can anyone tell me if there has been a STC for a camera port on the underside of a PA28?

I checked the STC listing and couldn't find one.
How big a port do you need??
Can it be offset from the center line? I ask because cutting a hole in the belly is not much of a problem; the part that would be a big problem is needing to move the stabilator and aileron control cable runs. You don't want to take on that task.
As I understand it Piper and Cessna are willing to grant permission to cut "inspection holes." If you camera hole needs are such that an inspection hole would provide what you needed you're probably in luck if it doesn't need to be located on the centerline of the aircraft.

On many PA28's there is an unused hole that is riveted closed for a belly strobe. It is located just off center and is easily identified. It may or may not work for you depending on equipment needs.

On most PA28's there is a hole just off center that is riveted shut designed for a belly strobe. Easy to find. This may or may not work for you.
